CBSE Re-Evaluation Portal: Session Time Limits Extended

The CBSE has optimized its Post-Result Activities portal by extending session time limits following high traffic and a 1.5-million-hit DDoS attack. Supported by an IIT-backed task force, the stabilized platform allows Class 10 and 12 students to recheck and re-evaluate their results in a stress-free manner.

Cyberattacks and System Optimizations

The re-evaluation portal had to face an enormous amount of pressure during its very first day, considering the approximate number of 14,000 concurrent users and more than 28,000 successfully registered users. However, all processes were highly interrupted because of the attacks of DDoS type, which involved a bombardment of over 1.5 million requests in just two minutes.

What Discrepancies Can Students Report?

Now that the updated portal is stable, the students who have been provided with the scanned copies of the digital answer script will be able to voice their grievances about the On-Screen Marking (OSM) method:

  • Pages Missing: Sheets that are absolutely blank, without page numbers, or don’t have any supplementary sheets or graphs.
  • Inability to Read: Digital copies with extreme blurring and preventing the proper reading of handwriting.
  • Mistakes in Assessment: Check for any errors in the assessment of your answers.
