The mix-up was noticed by students when they got their scanned answer scripts. They saw that the book they got did not belong to them. In some cases, there was a mistake in scanning. There are 20 such cases. Students told us about it after they saw their answer sheets, sources said.

The board said that 98 lakh answer scripts were scanned and uploaded to the OSM portal. Out of these, around 68,000 had quality issues during scanning. Were rescanned. Even after rescanning, over 13,000 copies still did not look clear. The board said that experts from IIT Madras and IIT Kanpur are checking the system and making it better. They are looking at the code and the system to make it work smoothly. The goal is to make it seamless and glitch-free.
