Criteria & Vacancy Details

• Minimum Academic Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in any discipline from a recognized university.
• General / NC-OBC / EWS: Minimum 50% marks or equivalent CGPA.
• SC / ST / PwD: Minimum 45% marks or equivalent CGPA.
• Candidates appearing for their final year bachelor's degree/equivalent qualification exams (or awaiting results) are eligible to apply provisionally.

How to Apply Online

1. Visit the official website, iimcat.ac.in.
2. Click on the "Register" button under the CAT 2026 option and provide information such as Name, Date of Birth, Email ID, Mobile Number, and Nationality for receiving a Unique User ID and Password.
3. Use your unique credentials to fill up your personal and academic details, work experience if any, and preferred IIMs and interview cities.
4. Select up to six cities where you want to take the exam, in order of preference.
5. Upload recent scanned photograph, signature, and category/PwD certificates (if any) according to the prescribed size and format.
6. Pay the requisite examination fee through online mode and submit the form.
7. Print out the confirmation page.
